Danforth Bay Camping Resort in Freedom, NH for us. Moose Hillock in Warren, NH a close second. Sorry I am somewhat limited when it comes to posting pictures. Both have decent websites if anyone wants to check them out.

Mine is Hardin Ridge, US National Forest, just south of Bloomington Indiana. The Indiana state parks are very nice. but can be close together.

Depending on our 'mood' at the time, we have 2. If we just want pure fun, and a ton of activities, we go to our local KOA. Thunder Bay KOA. They have a heated in ground swimming pool, 350 yard driving range, beautiful mini-putt course that goes up a hill with foutnains etc., a stocked fish pond, huge park. EVERYTHING!!! We love it there.

If we are looking for some quiet time, we go out to Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Beautiful large sites, right on a small inland lake. Great for canoeing and swimming. Here's a pic with our old Salem. The only thing is that there is only electric, no water or sewer hook-ups.

The Chequamegon National forest @ Spearhead Point campground. No place I would rather be 99% of the time. I dream about being there all year. Can't wait to take our two year old there in a few years when he will be able to understand things. I have a camp for Grouse hunting there twice every fall. My profile picture to the right is the view from our favorite campsite there. It has a private dock and everything. Fishing isn’t too bad either right from our site.

Only problem it is dry camping only so you have to be careful of resources. That is okay because that keeps the crowds down.

The Favorite Park Thread Empty Anyone Camped Near Kings Island Ohio

Post  ellen and shawn Tue Mar 31, 2009 7:22 pm

We are planning a trip to Kings Island. We found a place called Indian Springs Campground with full hook-up and are thinking about making reservations there. It is about 40 minutes from Kings Island but it is close to a museum we want to go see on our last day camping. We saw it listed in Woodalls and it seemed ok. Campsites looked real close together but I guess since we won't be there a whole lot anyway it would work. Any other ideas let me know.
Thanks!
