Gov. Granholm is proposing a $4 hike in vehicle permits and a $2 per night site fee hike so we will be paying upwards of $26 per night to stay in a state park. I think we will be going to more private campgrounds. i'd rather pay 26 there. When I started camping in 03 it was $15 and they haven't done any improvements to our local park.


this state is in trouble.

We already have $27/night at Tawas Point State Park. We've become the host for the month of August and get the free site for a little bit of work.

Maybe we'll start doing more of this.

my grandparents hosted for years they loved it. I looked into it this summer since I am laid off but there were no openings
