New Fifth Wheel Empty New Fifth Wheel

Post  kampinggal Sat Apr 11, 2009 5:02 pm

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and Fifth Wheels. I'm glad that there is a forum for just Jayco owners. We take ownership of a new rig on April 22nd and can't wait. Wondering if anyone else with a Jayco FW uses roto chocks? If not what do you use? Also, do you use the king pin stabilizer?

Thanks and lookin forward to this forum.

I don't have the Roto-Chocks but I do have the BAL locking chocks which are very similar. They run about $40 each and I suggest one for each side. Those along with the king pin tri-pod we have settle things down quite a bit but it is still an RV. If there was supposed to be no movement, it would be on blocks with skirting around it. Very Happy If you want to get as close as you can to zero movement may I suggest JT Stabalizers or similar product. I do not have that set up but from what I have seen, that is the way to go. Don't quote me but I think the price for JT's is around $300-$350 for the set.
