Adding a coat rack
I plan on adding a coat rack on the outside wall of the bathroom and a towel rack on the wall ajacent to the toilet in my 324bhds...between showers, the pool and the lake there are never enough hooks. I also intend to add shelving in the closet over the water heater.

Re: Adding a coat rack
We, too, will be adding shelves to the closet above the water heater. After spending all summer in the TT, we have decided that there are enough closets for hanging, but that shelves would be more useful in this location for holding towels, bedding, etc. I also installed extra towel bars in the bathroom-one in the shower up above the the shower wall, it's almost as long as the shower is and is a great place to hang wet washclothes, suits, etc. I also added 2 towel bars to the walls behind and beside the toilet. I left the existing towel bar in place behind the toilet, but added the 2 new ones up high. This gives room for beach towels to hang to dry, or room for the extra bath towels (since there are 4 of us and the original towel bar only held 2 towels!). I put an accordian style coat rack on the left wall as you enter the bunkhouse for the kids to hang hoodies, etc. I also put a small shelf on the wall between the dinette and the couch, it's just big enough to hold a small lamp for nighttime use and the napkin holder. We had the extra large folding grab bars put on both entry doors, so that it's easier/safer for wife with bad knees and the kids. Our last TT had 2 steps up and this one has 3, so it's much better. I installed a swinging pet door from the back of the bunkladder/shelves in the bunkhouse into the garage area. When we were on our seasonal site for the summer, the cat litter pan stayed in the garage, out of sight and out of the way! It was perfect. However, transporting kitties back and forth to the campground...NOT perfect, and NEVER again!! We also bought a small kitchen island. It has 2 wings that fold out (if you want), a drawer, and 3 metal baskets underneath. When we're underway, we roll it into the doorway on the street side of the front bedroom, lock the wheels, and pad the walls with pillows to avoid scratches. When we set up camp, it gets rolled into position in front of the kitchen drawers. It's not really in the way, and gives DW more work/prep space than the little countertop extension that Jayco said was an option for $200 or so dollars!! And we gained storage! We even rolled it over and blocked the streetside (bedroom) doorway, opened up the wings and made a buffet line for dinner one night when it rained. Other upcoming mod's will be adding shelves to the garage, and (after reading about it somewhere), looking to see if we can install our small fridge in that space so for extra fridge space. Should be able to just run the cord through the pet door and plug into the bunkhouse, but will have to take measurements, etc.
Of course, our all-time, hands down winner for mod's we have done was leaving off the 19' electric awning and having a 23' manual awning put on in it's place! Boy, it really gives us much more outdoor space and it's big enough to cover both entry doors!
