passport america
anyone get any use out of the free membership with your new rig? I just activiated mine. we only have one park close and it's actually 5 miles away but I figure at 50% off I can take the kids over there for a weekend to use the pool and playground
Re: passport america
I've activated mine also but haven't decided if will us it or not. There is a campground we've stayed at before in the Smoky Mountains that is on the list, so maybe when we go in the summer will us it.

We use the discover america and campclub usa all the time. you use it one time and have your fee back. have nothing to say bad about 1/2 off. sometimes it is not convient to go to one while enroute, but if they are on my route I always try to get in. Got to read the section for when they don't honor it.

Re: passport america
I'm hoping I get out of upper Michigan this summer to try other parks with it now if they had my favorite park I would be thrilled but it's going to be nice to camp with the kids in town when my fiancee is working
Re: passport america
We activated ours but the year is now up and we will not be renewing. Traveled 30 some days last year and never got near one except the one 15 miles away. Did not use it there and don't see using it this year either.
Might be good if you were near a few sites or could choose your travel route better. We do tend to use Good Sam and KOA discounts at times but mostly use State Parks.
