Slide Topper End Caps

Post  dalenoel on Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:17 am

Just got done with the spring wash and wax which turned up a problem I had not thought of before. The front end cap of my back slide topper had the screw backed out over an inch. If the cap had come off the topper would be exposed to highway winds and could have billowed as we went down the road.

It was a good thing to have been up there waxing the sides. This is just a reminder to check these areas for the loose screw that is not behind the wheel.
