who thinks the Diamond Plate rock guard is valuable? I do since some kid at a CG ran their bike into my old trailer and punched a hole in it

It's pretty flimsy stuff, but does the trick.

I kind of like it . I had a rock hit my old trailer and dent the diamond plate. I can't imagine how big the hole would have been on the aluminum.

Diamond Plate Empty Diamond plate

On the first trip in our 07 Jayco I got it stuck making the 90 degree turn out its new storage spot in the side yard, I dropped inside tires off the gravel on the inside of the turn and it sank into the spring time mud, And then I got to see how tough the diamond plate was. It was a real fight to pull it out, ALOT of rocks were kicked up and hit the diamond plate, and in the end I am glad it was there, I only ended up with 3 real dents, if it had been just regular siding I am sure it would have been much worst.

I have it on my rig and am thankful for it.

At least once per year we travel up to the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin. Many of the roads leading to campgrounds are in wilderness areas with only gravel or dirt roads. My guess is if I didn't have the plate my lower front end would be pretty beat up.

Not only good for stones. It's pretty handy when travelling over those freshly tarred sections of road. The tar kicked up from the TV wheels cleans off easy from the diamond plate.
