Jayco is replacing my wall
dealer says they want it for quality control. they think there is an issue with the lamination. I'm thrilled as this is ugly, although I was covering it up with a "message center" from a designer.

OOOOoooohh, That does look nasty, Mike. Do you suspect that water was coming in behind the wall? If so, were there any other signs (i.e. wet floor)?

Re: Jayco is replacing my wall
Mike,
I assume that they will only need to replace the interior wall panel unless additional issues are found upon removal. I would ask the dealer to contact you when the damaged panel is off so you can have a "look-see" for your own comfort level.
Is that an inner or an outer wall?

Re: Jayco is replacing my wall
I forgot to tell the story. this is the inner wall (bedroom) to the right as you walk in the doorthis is the result of a picture frame and 3m Command strips. the weight of the frame (a few ounces) pulled the laminated piece back. I complained to the dealer and a Jayco rep as It should not do this although I accept that it isn't warrantied as I caused the problem. this was in January. Last week Jayco called me saying I am not the only one complaining of weak lamination and they want my wall for Quality control. I said Fine as long as they replace it with a new one and send me on my way. and they said OK. it is not a load bearing wall or anything and replacement should take 2 hours according to the dealer.
Sure makes me feel good that Jayco wants to solve an issue so on our future trailers we will not have to deal with it. I was sickened by what happened to my new trailer but in all honesty I stuck that frame up there.
