General RV, White Lake, MI.

Post  Turk2500 on Fri Feb 27, 2009 10:20 pm

Last summer General RV of Michigan purchased the Jayco franchise from 'Haus of Trailers' of White Lake, MI.. 'Haus' sold Jayco products only, but General RV brought numerous other brands of RV's to the exisiting Jayco franchise. Haus was my Jayco dealership of choice for a number of years (1999 Eagle, 2005 Eagle) providing great customer support and service.

I was scheduled to have some extensive (delayed) warranty work done to my TT just as the Jayco franchise changed ownership, and I was concerned that my Jayco would become just another TT in the eyes of General RV.

The warranty work (new roof, sidewall, rear wall, etc.) was completed a couple of weeks ago, and I was pleased on how General RV (White Lake, MI., location) kept me up-to-date on the progress, but more importantly the quality of the repair project at hand. Great attention to detail.

that's good info as the mega dealers generally don't have much of a reputation actually If I was travelling downstate and broke down I would be hesitant in calling on general RV to do the repairs due to their size (wierd I Know) but sounds like they are running the operation well. I suppose being a Jayco dealer means something to them as well

This particular General RV center is smaller than the other Michigan locations, thus may work to their advantage being a little more customer focused. Time will tell.
