How often do you service them? How often do you check them?

In Pennsylvania, trailers with brakes have to be inspected every year. So, when I have my TT inspected, I always have the bearings repacked and the brakes adjusted at that time. It's good peace of mind.

How many miles do you guys put on?

I personally don't put many miles on. Less than 500 total miles/year.

It's not a matter of mileage. An RV sits for long periods of time between uses, allowing moisture to accumulate. You might want to look at this site for the whole story.
